Atlantic Chamber Ensemble

ACE has been awarded a 2016/17 touring assistance grant by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. This means that eligible Virginia concert presenters outside of our home base Richmond can be reimbursed up to 50% of the ACE concert fees and workshop fees for the 16/17 season.

Eligible presenters are those that produce, present, or support, dance, literary arts, media arts, music, theater, visual, and related arts, and are one of the following :

1) not-for-profit and exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(a) including 501(c)3

2) units of government (municipal summer concert series, for instance)
educational institutions

3) local chapters of tax exempt national organizations

Any not-for-profit organization meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to receive a touring assistance grant to support these activities. Grants are made to the presenter (sponsor), not to the touring artist.
